Kling 3.0 AI Video Generator

Kling 3.0 makes video from a prompt or a still image, at 720p through 4K, with sound as an option rather than a second step. Billing is per second of output, and the credit estimate updates before you commit.

720p, 1080p or 4K

Pick the output tier that fits the job; each one is priced per second.

Audio in the same run

Turn sound on and it is generated with the shot, not added afterwards.

Text or image in

Start from a written prompt, or hand it a still and let it move.

What is Kling 3.0?

Kling 3.0 is Kling's general video model: you give it a prompt or a photograph, and it returns a moving shot. It is the general-purpose sibling of the motion-control variants, which need a reference video to copy movement from.

Video model

On Kavel the model runs through the KIE runtime. The tier you pick in the generator is the tier the request asks for, and the credit estimate is computed from that same tier, so the number you see before generating is the number the run costs. A failed generation is never charged.

Three output tiers

720p, 1080p and 4K, each with its own per-second rate — so a draft and a final cut are genuinely different prices rather than the same bill at different quality.

Sound is a price, not a toggle

Audio roughly doubles the per-second cost at 720p and 1080p. It is worth turning off while you are still deciding what the shot should be.

Length is a multiplier

Because billing is per second, a ten-second clip costs twice a five-second one at the same tier. Deciding the length before the tier is usually the cheaper order to think in.

Both directions supported

Text-to-video and image-to-video use the same model here; starting from a still is the more predictable of the two because the first frame is already decided.

For a cheaper draft pass, Seedance 1.5 Pro runs an order of magnitude lower per second; for a finished cut with references and multi-shot control, Seedance 2.0 is the heavier option.

Where it fits

When this model is the right pick

It sits between the cheap draft models and the heaviest flagship, and the reason to choose it is usually the tier ladder.

01

You want 4K without a flagship bill

4K is available here at a per-second rate rather than being reserved for the most expensive model on the site.

02

You need sound on some runs only

Because audio is priced separately, you can iterate silent and switch it on for the take you keep.

03

You are animating a still

Image-to-video keeps the first frame you already approved, which removes most of the variance from the result.

What it does

What the model does

What the model accepts and what it returns, from the runtime configuration on this site.

Text-to-video

Describe subject, motion and camera in one prompt and get a moving shot back.

Image-to-video

Supply a still and the model animates it rather than inventing a new scene.

Optional audio

Sound can be generated with the shot; leave it off and the clip comes back silent and cheaper.

Tier selection

720p, 1080p and 4K are chosen in the generator before the run, not upscaled afterwards.

Cost shown per run

The credit estimate reflects the exact tier, length and audio setting you picked.

Silent drafts

Leaving audio off is the single biggest lever on what a session costs, and it changes nothing about the framing or motion you are judging.

How to use

Generating with it

Four steps, and the second one is where the cost is decided.

01

Pick text or image to video

Starting from a still removes most of the variance, because the opening frame is already settled.

02

Choose the tier

720p for exploring, 1080p for delivery, 4K when the clip is finished. Each is a different per-second rate.

03

Decide about sound

Leave audio off while iterating; it roughly doubles the per-second cost at 720p and 1080p.

04

Write the motion, then generate

Name the camera move and what changes across the clip. The estimate updates before you commit.

Who uses it

What people make with it

Four jobs where the tier ladder is the reason this model gets picked.

01

Social clips at delivery quality

1080p output without paying flagship per-second rates for a fifteen-second post.

02

Product shots in motion

Animate an approved still so the framing and the product stay exactly as signed off.

03

Concept passes before a shoot

Silent 720p runs are cheap enough to explore several directions in one sitting.

04

A 4K hero cut

When one clip has to hold up on a large screen, the top tier is available without changing models.

FAQ

Questions about this model

What it costs, what it accepts and where it stops.

It is billed per second and by tier. A five-second 720p clip without audio is about 106 credits on this site; the same clip with audio is about 150. The generator shows the estimate for the exact tier, length and audio setting before you start, and a failed run is never charged.

Yes, and by a lot — roughly double at 720p and 1080p. That is a provider rate, not a markup, so the practical advice is to iterate silent and only turn sound on for the take you intend to keep.

Yes. Image-to-video takes a still and animates it, which is usually the more predictable of the two modes because the first frame is already fixed. Switch to the Image to video tab in the generator.

Motion control copies movement from a reference video you supply, so it needs two inputs and answers a narrower question. this one is the general model: a prompt, or a prompt plus one still.

Yes, as its own tier with its own per-second rate. It is the most expensive way to run this model, so it is worth reserving for a clip you have already settled at a lower tier.

Frame rate is not something we have confirmed from the provider, so this page does not state one. Anything else absent from the specs table is absent because we could not source it.

Commercial rights follow your Kavel plan rather than this model in particular, so check the pricing page for what your tier includes. Nothing on this page grants rights the plan does not.
