Someone has already chosen roughly what they want — a crescent moon, a swallow, their grandmother's handwriting — and has stalled on the question no reference image answers: what does it look like on ME. Studios solve this with a paper transfer at the appointment, which is the last possible second to change your mind and the most awkward moment to do it.

Previewing on your own photo moves that decision weeks earlier, into a room where changing your mind costs nothing.

The demo on this page is our own run, and it is worth reading as evidence rather than decoration. The before is a bare inner forearm; the after is the same arm, the same palm-up angle, the same grey surface, with a fine-line crescent and three small stars added a third of the way up from the wrist.

Nothing else moved. That is the whole test — an edit that repaints your arm is not a preview of anything, and if you drag the slider and the hand has changed shape, you are looking at a new picture, not your own.

One limit we will not paper over: in-place add-object edits sometimes re-imagine the base photo instead of editing it. We hit that three times on the sibling AI tattoo generator page during batch testing, which is why the pairs here use a dedicated edit endpoint rather than a general image model. It still misses occasionally. Rerun, and keep the run where you recognise your own veins.
