VidRush advertises long-form video at "under $2/minute", but only its $639 Pro plan gets there: Starter works out to $2.75 a minute, unused credits expire every billing cycle, and one 40-minute video needs more credits than Starter includes.
VidRush review verdict: 3.5 / 5. VidRush turns a brief into a finished long-form YouTube video (6 to 40 minutes) built from real footage it finds online, with script, voiceover and edit done for you. It is fast and aimed squarely at faceless documentary and Top 10 channels. Before paying, know three things: there is no free plan (Starter is $99/month), unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, and you lose the 14-day refund right once you use any credits. What is VidRush?
VidRush is an AI production service for long-form video. You send a brief, and it returns an edited video: "One brief in. Publish-ready long-form video out. Under an hour," says its homepage. VidRush describes the pipeline as five specialists working in parallel: researcher, scriptwriter, motion designer, editor and sound designer.
What VidRush says it is built for, from its own pricing FAQ:
- Documentary and Top 10 videos, 6 to 40 minutes, in English
- Topics with plenty of real footage online: history, finance, true crime, science and nature, geopolitics, machines and transportation, and educational explainers
- Its test: "if there's 20+ minutes of real footage findable online for your topic"
And what VidRush says it is not built for: "vlogs, gaming, reactions, software tutorials, or anything vertical like Shorts and Reels."
The footage is not generated. The FAQ says every video is "matched to real footage sourced from across the web ... nothing is AI-generated footage," and that it "gets you about 80% of the way there, and the built-in editor handles the rest." You can paste your own script (up to 40 minutes) or upload your own narration as MP3 or WAV.
VidRush is run by Vidrush AI Studios LLP, registered in England and Wales (company number OC456595), per its Terms & Conditions.
VidRush pricing 2026
VidRush sells three monthly plans. We divided each price by the minutes it includes:

VidRush's pricing FAQ says a finished minute costs "between $1.93 and $2.72" and that yearly billing saves 20%. Two details don't line up: Starter's card says $2.72 but $99 ÷ 36 minutes is $2.75, and no monthly plan shows $1.93. Creator adds 1 team seat; Pro adds 3.
What "up to 6 videos" assumes
The advertised video counts assume roughly 6-minute videos. VidRush makes videos up to 40 minutes, and every plan works out to about 55 credits per minute. So a longer video eats the allowance fast:

This is a linear estimate from VidRush's published ratio. One more cost detail from the FAQ: "bringing your own voiceover doesn't lower the credit cost."
Is VidRush free?
No. The VidRush pricing page lists only paid plans, starting at $99 a month, and a post on r/vidrush is titled "I got invited to VIDRUSH —NO FREE TIER". VidRush's terms (clause 30.1) say it may "from time to time" offer free trials, and that a trial turns into a paid plan unless you cancel.
VidRush credits expire, and prices are set in pounds
VidRush Terms 23.2: "Any credits allocated to your Subscription Plan that remain unused at the end of a billing cycle do not roll over into the next billing cycle and will expire."
Currency, payment and price changes
The terms also say:
- Currency. Terms 23.3: "All prices are in pounds sterling (£)(GBP) and include VAT." The pricing page shows dollars. One r/YT_Faceless user described a "$600 package" as "477 gbp."
- Payment methods. Terms 24.4 list "Apple Pay and Google Pay."
- Price changes come with at least 30 days' notice (23.4), and fees keep running during any suspension (25.2).
VidRush refunds: the 14-day window closes on your first credit
You have 14 days from your first confirmation email to cancel (27.1) and get a refund, "provided you have not used any credits" (27.2). Clause 27.3: "You lose your right to cancel to the extent credits are used." At sign-up you tick a box agreeing to start immediately (27.4).
Using credits removes the cancellation right to the extent those credits are used. If VidRush ends your plan itself, you get a pro-rata refund with 30 days' notice (26.1).
Who owns VidRush videos?
VidRush's terms assign the intellectual property in your outputs to you (9.1–9.2). They also give VidRush a "perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable and sub-licensable" licence to use those outputs to "train, develop and improve" its services (9.3).
The terms do not explain how footage is licensed: VidRush says it matches videos to "real footage sourced from across the web," and a search of its full terms for footage, stock or YouTube found no clause on it. If you plan to monetize on YouTube, ask VidRush support (support@vidrush.ai) about footage rights before you publish at scale.
Is VidRush legit?
VidRush is registered in England and Wales. Its FAQ says a 24/7 support chat resolves "most issues within 2 to 3 hours." Trustpilot showed a 4-star rating from 44 reviews when we searched on September 13, 2026. Reddit is split: one r/YT_Faceless user called it "a scam" over audio that "starts going crazy," and an r/FacelessVideos post mentions someone who spent about $4,000 and "couldn't earn it back."
Watch out for vidrush-ai.com
A separate site, vidrush-ai.com, is titled "VidRush AI – Official AI Video Generator | Free to Start." It sells a different product: short clips (5 seconds at 768p in its generator), subtitle tools and "unlimited" Veo and Seedance plans. VidRush's terms are published on vidrush.ai and give support@vidrush.ai as the contact. Check the domain before you pay.
