To do the Alors on Danse AI trend you need two photos and one 12-second generation: two characters make the beat at a little keyboard in a white studio, one leans into the lens, and in the full version both run off dancing. The versions you can actually make are the ones starring you, your friends or your pets. Celebrity and film-character copies are what the video model's copyright filter stops: on Kavel it blocked 23 of the last 163 runs of the same model.
What it is: the Alors on Danse AI trend recasts a 2010 Stromae studio skit with two new characters, posted on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
What you need: two photos, one character each. No video, no template link.
Who stands where: photo one goes on the left and plays the keys; photo two goes on the right, points along and leans into the lens.
What it costs on Kavel: 925 credits for 12 seconds at 720p (430 at 480p). The smallest credit pack is 2,700 credits for $19.90, no subscription (pricing).
The easy win: pets. Four pet versions are broken down beat by beat below, and each is a one-tap template on the Alors on Danse AI meme page.

What is the Alors on Danse AI trend, and how was the original made?
The original is a 2010 clip of Stromae and comedian Jamel Debbouze in a bare white studio. One of them taps out "Alors on Danse" on a keyboard next to a laptop, the other hypes him up, keeps trying to leave and keeps getting pulled back, and the two of them end up running off dancing. On 8 October 2026 we counted 130 new posts about it in the previous 72 hours across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X.
Most posts are made with Higgsfield's Genjutsu template, which copies the skit onto two new characters; the creators tag it in their captions. Footballers, film characters and pets are the three casts you see most.
The four beats of the Alors on Danse AI trend
The full routine runs in this order; shorter posts drop the last beat or two. We timed two of the pet clips frame by frame:
| Beat | What happens on screen | Cat and rat clip (27.6 s) | Chihuahua clip (24.3 s) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. The beat | Left one plays the mini keyboard, right one nods and points at the screen | 0–10 s | 0–14 s |
| 2. The lean-in | One of them pushes its face right up to the lens | 11–17 s | 15–22 s |
| 3. The run-off | Both leave the desk and head toward the camera across the white floor | 18–25 s | 23–24 s |
| 4. The finish | Side-by-side dance moves | 26–27 s | clip ends |

The four beats, timed in two pet versions.
Our 12-second default fits all four beats by keeping the keyboard part short. For a slower version closer to these clips, set the length to 15 seconds.
How to do the Alors on Danse AI trend with your pets
Step 1: Pick the pair
Decide who plays and who performs. The left character stays at the keys; the right one sings, points, throws a paw up and is usually the one that leans into the camera. Put the calm animal on the left and the loud one on the right. Only one pet? Put yourself or a friend in the other slot: the routine needs two characters, so both slots have to be filled.
Step 2: Do you need one photo, two photos or a video?
Two photos, one character in each. You do not need the original video, a template link or a clip of your pet. What helps:
- One animal per photo, face visible, eyes open.
- Standing, sitting up or perched beats lying down: the routine has them upright at a desk.
- For a bird, a side-on shot with the whole bird in frame.
- Plain light, no other pets or people in the frame.
Step 3: Use a template or the default routine
On the Alors on Danse AI meme page, upload the left pet first and the right pet second. Keep the default routine, or tap one of the four templates (dog and cat, chihuahuas, kitten and rat, parrots) so the outfits and moves match that clip. You can rewrite any line in plain English, for example "dress the left one in a black leather jacket".
Step 4: Add the original Alors on Danse sound on TikTok, Reels or Shorts
The clip comes back vertical (9:16) and 12 seconds long, with its own upbeat electro beat. It all works in a phone browser on iPhone or Android, so you can upload from the camera roll and post from the same phone. When you post, pick "Alors on Danse" from the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube sound library so the song plays under the clip.
Four pet versions of the Alors on Danse AI trend, beat by beat
These are the four pet clips our templates are written from. Each was posted publicly; the links go to the original posts.

The parrot version four seconds in. Made by @kennyslowbird on TikTok (tiktok.com/@kennyslowbird/video/7692527106185596168), reposted by @birdscolour56 on X (x.com/birdscolour56/status/2107201663110955256).
Two parrots. The bigger parrot keeps one foot on the keys for most of the clip while the smaller one bobs along and points a claw at the laptop. The ending is the lean-in: the small parrot's face fills the frame. There is no run-off, so a bird pair works even if your photos are close-ups.
A kitten and a rat. A white kitten in a striped shirt plays; a rat in a suit and bowler hat waves along, then leans into the lens at eleven seconds. Then both sprint across the empty studio and finish with a spin. It is the most complete version of all four beats (@aliaboutine on Instagram (instagram.com/p/DeHTn4oKNyS/)).

The lean-in beat in the kitten-and-rat version, 13 seconds in.
A golden retriever and a ginger cat. The dog plays with both front paws; the cat sings with its mouth wide open and throws a paw into the air while the dog turns and grins at it. It is the shortest of the four and plays like a duet (@ggb3441 on TikTok (tiktok.com/@ggb3441/video/7693577336783899934), the last 11 seconds of the post).

The dog-and-cat version two seconds in.
Two chihuahuas in costume. One wears a white shirt, the other a shiny pink suit. They tap the keys for fourteen seconds, take turns crowding the lens, then walk off side by side (@pekosandesu on Instagram (instagram.com/p/DeEKH2kqqT5/)). If your pets have a look of their own, name the outfits in the prompt.

Why the celebrity versions of the Alors on Danse AI trend fail when you try them
The most-watched Alors on Danse AI posts star footballers and film characters. The tutorials skip the part where you try that yourself and the model says no. Here is what happened to every run of Seedance 2.0 Mini, the model behind our Alors on Danse page, on Kavel between 8 September and 8 October 2026:
| Outcome of a Seedance 2.0 Mini run on Kavel | Runs | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Finished | 111 | 68% |
| Copyright filter: input image | 17 | 10% |
| Kavel content check, before submission | 15 | 9% |
| Other errors | 12 | 7% |
| Copyright filter: output video | 5 | 3% |
| Flagged as a real person | 2 | 1% |
| Copyright filter: output audio | 1 | 1% |

Every Seedance 2.0 Mini run on Kavel, 8 September to 8 October 2026.
The copyright filter runs on the model provider's side and checks three things: the photos you upload (17 runs), the video it made (5 runs) and its audio track (1 run). Its messages say only that the image or output "may be related to copyright restrictions"; famous faces, film stills and screenshots of other people's clips are the obvious candidates. Photos of real people were rarely the issue: 2 runs in 30 days. On Kavel a failed or blocked run gives its credits back automatically (listed on every plan on the pricing page); the credits on those 23 runs were all returned.
Photo tips for the Alors on Danse AI trend: what avoids distorted faces and paws
| Works well | Causes problems |
|---|---|
| One pet per photo, face toward the camera | Two pets in one photo (the model has to guess which one you meant) |
| Standing, sitting up, perched | Curled up asleep, half the body out of frame |
| Whole bird, side-on | A bird photographed from directly above |
| Even daylight, sharp eyes | Night shots, heavy filters, motion blur |
| Your own photos, or a friend's with their OK | Celebrity photos, film stills, screenshots of someone else's AI clip |
Two more things help with strange results. Keep the default line that says paws, claws or wings, never human hands: AI pets love to grow fingers, and the parrot clip above has one frame where a hand appears. And if a face drifts, swap in a sharper photo rather than generating again with the same one.

FAQ
Who made the Alors on Danse dance in the meme?
The moves come from a 2010 studio skit with Stromae and comedian Jamel Debbouze: one at the keyboard, one hyping him up and trying to leave, then both running off dancing. The AI trend swaps the two of them for two new characters.
Is Alors on Danse a rap song?
It is an electronic dance track by the Belgian artist Stromae, released in 2009, with half-spoken French verses over the beat. The AI clips use it as the sound, added on TikTok or Reels.
Is there a free Alors on Danse AI meme generator, and is there a watermark?
Not on Kavel: Seedance 2.0 Mini clips are paid, 925 credits for 12 seconds at 720p. Credit packs start at 2,700 credits for $19.90, never expire and are not a subscription, and paid downloads are HD with no watermark (all listed on the pricing page).
Is the Alors on Danse AI trend the same as an Alors on Danse AI cover?
No. An AI cover is the song sung by a new, AI-generated voice; it is audio. The Alors on Danse AI trend is the video meme with two characters in the studio, and the sound is the original song added when you post.
How do you do the AI thing on TikTok?
Make the clip first, then post it: upload two photos on the Alors on Danse AI meme page, download the 9:16 clip, upload it to TikTok and pick "Alors on Danse" from TikTok's sound library before you post. The same works on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
