Google's own support site states the limit plainly: "All Photos users can use Magic Editor on Android with 10 saves each month." The page then says what to do when you hit it — "Upgrade to a Premium Google One plan 2 TB or above."
The meter is saves, not edits or generations, and the published way past it is a Google One tier of 2 TB or above. Ten a month is enough for occasional edits; the upgrade path runs through a plan sold on storage capacity.
On these apps, ask what the meter counts before you compare prices. Google counts saves. Photoroom counts exports separately from credits. Adobe counts storage. Luminar counts nothing — you pay once.
